The Defender Society was founded by Jake in 2022 during a summer spent in Devon. Having grown up in the countryside, the Land Rover Defender was a vehicle he had admired for as long as he can remember.

What began as an Instagram passion project for this timeless 4×4 has since evolved into a platform that connects enthusiasts and brands with one of the world’s most iconic vehicles — the Land Rover Defender.

Alongside our online presence, we now offer tailored classic Defender experiences — from short-term rentals and private hires to brand partnerships and content collaborations.

Looking ahead, The Defender Society will continue to grow. From 2026, we plan to expand into newer Defender models as well as earlier Land Rover Series vehicles, broadening our offering and celebrating the marque’s full lineage.
